This is Jeff Morgan, a Jewish believer in Jesus. He is an evangelist based in Israel, although he was born and raised in the United States. His journey from a secular Jewish upbringing to Christian ministry is a widely cited testimony in Messianic Jewish circles. During his youth and young adulthood, he struggled with a deep sense of emptiness, which led him down several paths in search of enlightenment. First, he sought to find himself through bodybuilding and intense physical training. Second, he sought himself through New Age Spirituality, where he spent many years practicing meditation and following various spiritual teachers. He also dabbled in Eastern mysticism and “positive thinking” practices. Despite these pursuits, he described growing through severe depression, suicidal thoughts, and demonic oppression.

Jeff’s turning point occurred in his mid-forties when a combination of financial strain and emotional exhaustion brought him to a breaking point. He began reading the Hebrew Scriptures (the Tanakh) and was drawn to Yeshua (Jesus), which eventually led to a radical conversion experience. While attending a church with his family, he felt conflicted until he heard a teaching on the Transfiguration of Jesus. He realized that Moses (representing the Law) and Elijah (representing the Prophets) stood alongside Jesus, who he understood to be the fulfillment of both. He describes this moment as a total transformation where his “idols” were destroyed and his depression was lifted. He eventually moved to Israel in 2003, where he became fluent in Hebrew and began his work as an evangelist.

Jeff’s ministries and outreach include:

  • Highway 53 – Named after Isaiah 53, this ministry focuses on exploring biblical prophecy and the suffering servant narrative.
  • Street Evangelism & “So Be It” YouTube Videos – Jeff is well-known for his YouTube presence, formerly under the channel name Guilt Free TV and now through Highway 53.
  • Partnership with Jews for Jesus – Earlier in his ministry, Jeff served as a missionary for Jews for Jesus, helping develop their outreach strategies in Israel before launching his own.
