Happy Thanksgiving! Here is a thanksgiving message from Billy Graham in 1952. One of the commenter with the handle @melissaharmon3808 wrote, “Sermon is OLDER than me, his message applies to our nation today!” I agree! Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes and forever.” God’s message of His unconditional love shown on the cross of Jesus is timeless, and it can save people during the biblical times, 1952, today, and tomorrow. If you don’t have much to be thankful, then simply thank God for your salvation in Christ. You will begin to realize that nothing will come close to that blessing, not even your health, wealth, and family.
“Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting. Give thanks to the God of gods, For His lovingkindness is everlasting. Give thanks to the Lord of lords, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.” (Ps.136:1-3)
“Sing for joy in the LORD, O you righteous ones; praise is becoming to the upright. Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre; sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings. Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with a shout of joy.” (Ps.33:1-3)
“…in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thess.5:18)
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phil.4:6-7)
