Here is me and my short term mission team giving mission report to my church after three months in Kenya, Africa. And this is the video of the “Journey” drama that we did throughout the trip that represents Jesus Christ overcoming death to reconcile rebellious people back to God.

The Journey is a story of six travelers on their journey to a new land where there is love, joy, peace, and abundance of things led by the Prince whose Father owns the land. Group members were the Prince, a soldier, a business person, husband and wife, and a mysterious figure only known as the mask. They traveled through many beautiful places, perilous parts, and encountered wild animals. However, while they were resting after their hard journey, the mask rises up and reveals his true intention to overthrow the Prince and turn the people against him. The people eventually kill the Prince but realized that they had lost the only way to the new land. They were sad, in distress, and lost all hope of reaching the new land. The mask and the people, however, did not know that the Prince had the power of life and death and come back from the dead. As the Prince slow began reviving, the mask did everything he could to keep him down, but Prince rises from the dead and casts out the mask and bring healing and renewal to the people. He redeems the people and lead them to the Promised Land.

“Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going…  I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.” (Jn.14:1-6)

“Since then the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil;and might deliver those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.” (Heb.2:14-15)

“The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me. Thou dost prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; Thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” (Ps.23:1-6)
